Barbara Hanson Clark has enjoyed a diverse career with an emphasis on environmental technologies, first as a chemical engineer, then as a patent attorney working remotely, including as a solo practitioner. Her greatest joy, however, has come from raising four children and now being “Grandma” to eight amazing grandchildren. She shares her home with Charlie, her golden retriever, and two charming cats, Freddy and Mr. Tibbs. Barbara loves traveling (including a memorable trip to Antarctica), capturing the world through photography, playing piano, and time with family and friends. She also finds inspiration at her nearby acreage—once a cornfield, now a peaceful retreat, complete with a lake, abundant trees and wildlife, and a little house “next to” the prairie.
